You forgot about Saarbrücken, they’re in the 3rd league and beat Bayern Munich, Frankfurt and Monchengladbach to advance to German Cup Semi final where they lost to a league 2 team somehow after all that. They also did all that while being a mid table team as well. They finished 5th in the league

28. Heidenheim has the same coach since 2007. He coached the club through all leagues into bundesliga.
    Third league club Saarbrücken made it into the semifinals of german national cup, after kicking out Frankfurt, Bayern Munich and Mönchengladbach. Yes, this season is crazy, and i love it.

Its not that bayern have declined in quality, as much as it is that bayer leverkusen and stuttgart have improved.
