38. Well i would say they had a better season than any other team in bundesliga , maybe even better than bayern . Yes , bayern won the league but their ambition were much much higher this year, which they failed to achieve . Union on the other hand will be playing UCL for the first time in their history and also they gave bayern a run for the title for a very long time . The revenue generated next year by playing in UCL will be used well at the development of the club .
