  1. The left-side skew for penalties conceded – I wonder if that's as a result of more players being right-footed, so more left-sided players who are right-footed, so more instances of those players cutting inside to dangerous positions in the box? Are there any data to test my hypothesis?

  2. If you want to create an EPL scenario in the bundesliga (or indeed anywhere), the top league has to divorce itself from the lower leagues and horde all finances.

  3. The Bundesliga definitely needs more competition and in the end that will be beneficial to Bayern. Winning a trophy and playing in a competition in which you are the only true big club is very bad for the league, devalues the value of everything they do.

  4. Question: How did the Norwegian national team manage to rank second in the FIFA ranking in the mid 90’s, and can such a period of overperforming by a national team be a «curse» and a burden in the years after?

  5. Based on Chris Smallings UEFA Conference league final performance, could he not play for England, considering how CB is our weakest position? (This game being the only one I’ve watched from him this year).

  6. I want to thank Dr Osaoji for giving me more life again..I was diagnosed with Herpes virus but after the use of Dr. Osaoji on YouTube medicine, I got cured. If you are infected, he also cure sickness like hepatitis B, HPV, HSV1&2

  7. Aston Villa look to be doing a lot better than Newcastle in the transfer market (so far) this summer, despite Newcastle’s perceived, and almost guaranteed, path to the premier league title, why?

  8. Is it worth sending a goalkeeper up for a last minute set piece? What’s the rate of goals scored to goals conceded? (This is my second week of asking, I will never stop. My vengeance shall be had)

  9. Could North American football (MLS, Canadian Premier League etc) be restructured to be more similar to European football leagues? What would this take, what would be the impacts, and would it realistically ever happen?

  10. 1. One other solution would be to COMBINE Ligue 1, the Bundesligue, the Austrian League, and the Czech League into one big 'Mega West European League'.

With this option you would have a twenty team Combined League with three relegations each year, and one Promotion from each of the French and 'Combined Germany' Leagues with one other play off spot.

Such a League would have both PSG and Bayern, and you would probably see that match become the equivelant of 'El Classico'. Could be a money maker.

    2. The thing with the penalty box is that if you reduce the severity of the penalty by reducing the scoring %, then you make fouls more likely. This is not necessarily bad, but it does mean players will foul more as there is less of a cost to doing so.

  11. Question: Can small teams really build "the right way"(cheap signings, and academy players) and have long sustained success (UCL, league title) or do you absolutely need a bucket load of investment?

  12. Question: What is your opinion on the lack of players wearing long sleeve shirts in matches now? It used to be far more common 10 years ago but now 99% of players wear a short sleeve shirt with a thermal underneath. Only some players like Ronaldo and Hazard wear long sleeves. Why is this?

  13. I have to assume that Joe Devine’s audio is broken and JJ stepped in as Joe’s voice to avoid recording the whole show again.

Or they just thought it was a funny bit (which it was hahaha)

  14. Question: Why do Italian teams, Roma and Inter come to mind, have players take such unorthodox numbers even in the starting lineup and key positions of the first team?

  15. Very interesting how something that seems the core of the game penalties from 12 yards ,for a foul in an 18 yard area, actually seems flawed when you think about it. There's too many soft penalties these days, where an attacker initiates contact then collapses in a heap. I definitely like the idea of taking the penalty from where the foul occurred. Also, shrinking the penalty area, or perhaps making an arc on it. Though wouldn't an arc be difficult to tell whether inside or out compared to the current straight lines? Whatever, attackers continually diving for penalties is probably the biggest irritation in the game for me, these days.

  16. Question : Who is a good Fernandinho replacement?

    Matheus Nunes – sporting
Ryan gravenberch -If he dosent go Bayern
    Frankie de jong – Barca
    Florian grillitsch -Free
    Aurelien Tchouameni-Monaco
    Romeo lavia – Academy

Any of these or do you think they should go for someone else?

  17. Question: By staying at PSG, has Mbappe relegated himself from football's elite? Like Neymar he's opted to play in a poor league and probably not win anything of note for the duration. Will he ultimately stagnate and be forgotten, rather than move and progress and become a genuinely memorable player?
