In memory of Robert Enke – Gone but never forgotten

A minute’s silence was observed throughout the Bundesliga on Matchday 11 to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of Robert Enke on 10 November 2009. As part of a joint Deutsche Fußball-Bund (DFB) and Robert Enke Foundation campaign, together with the support of the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), the initiative was not only about remembering Robert Enke as a person and sportsman but also to raise awareness of depression, and the help available to those suffering.
